  • How to get to Ocean Vibes Morocco?

Ocean Vibes Morocco is located in the main square of Sidi Kaouki, at the entrance of the village (Essaouira side) on your right.

-From the airport: We can organize shuttles on request

-From Essaouira:

There are buses (Lima Bus) that leave from Bab Doukkala, at the eastern exit of the medina. The bus costs 8dh, the ticket can be bought on the bus. Do not hesitate to arrive a little early to check the timetables, there is a departure every 2 hours.

If you want to avoid public transport you can also take a taxi, or collective taxi which will cost you less (approximately 30dh per person)

-From other cities: There are CTM buses which are well served and which will take you to Essaouira, do not hesitate to book your ticket on their site: https://ctm.ma/

 

  • What are your opening times and hours?

We are open all year round, whether it's Christmas holidays, winter holidays, Easter holidays or summer holidays. We are open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and we are flexible according to your needs.

 

  • Can my children come?

Of course, we have courses suitable for all ages. In Sidi Kaouki they can also enjoy other activities such as horse riding, quad excursions, etc.

 

  • Is there an internet connection available?

SURF

  • How are the surf lessons conducted?

We welcome you to the Ocean Vibes Morocco school where you will receive a wetsuit, a board and a leash. We have cabins at your disposal for changing. The instructor will then take you to the beach where the lesson begins with a warm-up. Depending on your level, the class will start either on the beach or directly in the water. At the end of the course we often discuss about the class over some tea or delicacies. Please do not hesitate to ask all your questions during and after the lesson.

  • How long does a surf or kitesurf lesson last?

You have the choice between lessons of 1 or 2 hours. But you can take multiple classes in a day. We also organize surf camps.

 

  • Are there lessons that are suitable for my level?

Yes there are lessons suitable for all levels. For beginners the session begins with a lesson outside the water, for the more experienced you will go to the water accompanied by the instructor. We have the necessary equipment for different skill levels.

  • Is surfing dangerous?

Surfing is not dangerous if you listen to the instructions. There are some places to avoid depending on your level. In Sidi Kaouki, in general, the conditions are perfect for all levels. If this is not the case we can bring you to different spots near Sidi Kaouki.

  • What do I need to plan before a lesson?

We have board, leash and wetsuit at your disposal (but nothing prevents you from bringing your own equipment). You can change on site and we have buckets of water to rinse your equipment after the session. Bring a towel!

 

  • What if I have booked a surf lesson and the conditions are not good in Sidi Kaouki?

Sidi Kaouki is located perfectly between different surf spots, there is always at least one that works. If not, we will promote training outside of the water, which is just as important as in the water.

  • When is the best time to surf in Morocco?

There is surfing all year round in Morocco. During the winter (November-February) the conditions are the best. Whatever your level is, you will find your happiness in one of the spots. During the summer (April-October) the waves reach small or medium sizes and the water is a bit warmer.

KITESURF

  • How is the kitesurf lesson conducted?

We welcome you to the Ocean Vibes Morocco school where you will be equipped with all the necessary equipment. We have cabins at your disposal for changing. The instructor will then take you to the beach where the lesson begins with a warm-up. Depending on your level, the class will start either outside the water or directly in the water. At the end of the course we often discuss over some tea or other delicacies. Please do not hesitate to ask all your questions during and after the course.

 

  • Are there lessons that are suitable for my level?

Yes there are classes suitable for all levels. For beginners the session begins outside the water, as you will first learn how to use the sail. For the more experienced you will go in the water accompanied by the instructor. We have the necessary equipment for different levels.

 

  • What if I have booked a kitesurfing lesson and the conditions are not good in Sidi Kaouki?

Sidi Kaouki is located perfectly between different kitesurfing spots, there is always at least one working. If not, we will promote training outside of the water, which is just as important as in the water.

  • What is the best time to go kitesurfing in Morocco?

From March to August: there is wind 80% of the days

SURF CAMP

  • What are the surf camps?

The advantage of surf camps is that we organize everything for you, at a reduced price. We plan your accommodation in a guest room with swimming pool and breakfast included. You will have 2 hours of lessons per day with an experienced instructor. Board rental is free outside of surf lessons. We offer you a sunset yoga or horseback riding session and we arrange transportation from / to the airport.
